About The Game
Ghost Watchers is a co-op online horror game. You will explore and hunt ghosts in abandoned houses. 8 types of unique ghosts – the souls of people and strange creatures, as well as several types of demons! More than 20 types of detailed tools for collecting evidence and fighting ghosts! You can tell the type of ghost, its age and mood. You can not only study ghosts, but also catch them! You will have to explore the ghost, and then catch it! In this hunt everything is important: look for evidence, find out the age of the ghost, feel what kind of mood it is in. In Ghost Watchers, engaging with your opponents can be done with the use of certain tools made available in-game.
In total, there are 20 tools specifically created to aid your exploration and avoidance of the worst consequences when messing with the paranormal. Some tools are great for collecting evidence, giving you a chance to learn a lot about what exactly you’re dealing with in an encounter. Meanwhile, if your situation is extremely dire, you can opt for tools that will help with fighting ghosts. There are 3 main locations in the game, each with their own palette and backdrops. One of our favorites is the haunted house which is a very closed off space, making encounters with ghosts extremely tense. Although it might feel daunting to see a ghost appear right in front of you, there are ways to handle these encounters and avoid feeling totally helpless.
Graphics: The graphics are pretty nice to be fair, with some nice visuals in and around the home. The character models are strange from weird bouncing boobs to eye head blinking, but the maps themselves you can see is where all the art has gone into. It is also MASSIVELY optimised and runs butter smooth. Audio: A great deal of audio was put into the game, you can tell the whispering, creaks, light bulbs popping, footsteps are all extremely nice to listen too and you can tell what’s actually going on just from the audio. Controls: Very easy to change and get working without a problem but as I write this review a few days after, you cannot change the keys mid game, very strange but I am sure this can be fixed in the future, either way the keybinds work like a treat! Game-play and everything else after: So the game is a ghost hunting style game with some great differences that make this stand out amongst the rest.
(I completely understand people who say it’s a copy of Phasmophobia or Ghost Exile, listen we get it but that’s like saying COD is a copy of CS, CS is a copy of Unreal Tournament and so on, without actually having an understanding off the game and what you can do. The ghost doesn’t go hunting and then flash light and door locked, none of that. It’s just wandering around the house, you may get grabbed, you may get killed etc without any information, which is great and a way to keep you always on your toes, the same as the ghost going outside.

This threw me! Walking down a corridor and a ghost peeking it’s head out from the corner and back in was scary, noises, moving items, peeking, running around and even the mirror (Which I love by the way) are all great additions to a market that all feels the same. All the evidence gathering can be different leading to the style of ghost and objectives force you to complete other tasks, without knowing if the ghost is angry or not, this is great and makes it more intense. Same as the noises and weird things in the home. Weakening, capture is like a ghost busters fest and good fun because it shows captures ghosts in the hideout which is AWESOME! Kinda like a 13 ghosts sorta house vibes, love it.
