Gravity Castle is a 2D puzzle platformer where you explore mysterious subterranean ruins using gravity augmentation powers. Gravity Castle is a colossal structure leading into the center of the world. Anyone can enter, yet once the gates close, no one can leave. You wake up in the depths of this strange building, the origins of which are unknown. You will have to uncover the deepest, darkest secrets hidden within Gravity Castle. Overcome impossible Trials, trudge past the remains of fallen explorers and make your way to the very bottom. Your weapons against the ruthless, malicious Gravity Castle are your Antigravity Device and the Soul Stones that bring you back to life. But your greatest strength lies in your relentlessness. The Castle is especially unforgiving of those who surrender. The deep, dark depths are yours to explore. The main advantage of the story is its characters. The main cast is not only always there for Cal, either just to chat about everyday things on the ship or to actually listen to his problems and be a genuine support on the journey, but they also impact the events of the game in a not-so direct way.
It’s so unnecessarily convoluted. It even seems like in this one place, past the bridge in the village should be an opening to just let you through. Instead, it’s blocked by this little wooden wall that you can’t jump over, so you must go around the whole location. It’s a serious flaw that is not only easily fixable, but just feels like somebody just forgot to put something there. It’s not really that useful though, because you skip many invisible triggers while using it and it screws up the collision and map loading. It is funi. This game had made some fantastic improvements to it’s story, mechanics, graphics, combat etc compared to it’s predecessor STAR WAR JEDI: Fallen Order. I would go into to detail but honestly I think it’s best you buy it and play it for yourself spoiler-free like I did. All my issues with the game itself are far to minor and nit-picky to mention.
Gravity Castle Direct Play:
Everything good in the first game has been expanded, and a lot of the rough edges have been ironed out. Performance is still questionable, especially in the more open areas, but the game is engaging enough that the stutters and lower frame rates never got in the way of having fun. After experiencing everything STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor has to offer, I can truly say it’s a fantastic game. This game had made some fantastic improvements to it’s story, mechanics, graphics, combat etc compared to it’s predecessor STAR WAR JEDI: Fallen Order. I would go into to detail but honestly I think it’s best you buy it and play it for yourself spoiler-free like I did. All my issues with the game itself are far to minor and nit-picky to mention.
