Welcome to ‘Grey Haven,’ a secure haven boasting a witch’s cottage and a quaint garden. Build your own home, gather essential resources, and Decorate your house. it’s actually a really interesting spin on an Animal Crossing focused on dungeon crawling over debt repayment. The battles are surprisingly tough, though sometimes err on the side of kite-and-poke cheesing. Combat is weapon swap-based as opposed to skill use-based, which so far has lead to finding a couple weapons that work better for some enemies (certain weapons will stun enemies under a certain size, but the larger enemy they’ll stun the slower they swing Grey Haven is currently in Early Access with many improvements to be made. Onee-chan did enjoy the light-hearted ambient and gameplay.
Grey Haven Direct Play:
The music and environment were calming to listen to and look at, and the character models were simply adorable. Grey Haven is a JRPG with Life-Sim elements. Darlings can cut wood, craft furniture, and expand the village while meeting new people, exploring dungeons, and farming stronger gear. The art style and abundance of big-breasted mommies are undeniably the strongest selling points of the game. All hail the thicc slime demon mommy! There are significant optimization issues to be addressed. Grey Haven ran at a smooth 60 fps on the Steam Deck in the tutorial, but the performance dropped drastically upon reaching the Grey Garden, hitting as low as 15-20 fps.
