Grieve is a single-player action-packed third-person shooter featuring a variety of activities and levels. A very fun game with the most engaging sniping mechanics I’ve played. I much prefer the sniping in this game to the Sniper Elite series, as you don’t have to rely on a red dot to be able to hit your shots, but you also don’t have to think too hard about the shots – all the information you need is there for you to work it out.
Grieve’s strategy components deepen the gameplay by putting players in a position to make tactical choices that affect how their actions turn out. Players need to use strategic thinking to be successful, whether they are organizing how they will approach combat engagements, allocating resources, or devising plans to get beyond obstacles. “Grieve,” a game created and released by AJ STUDIOS LTD and developed by Joseph Amadasun, benefits from having a single creative vision and control over the whole production and delivery process. This guarantees that the game offers users a seamless and engaging gameplay experience, fulfilling the developer’s vision. The levels in this game flow wonderfully, all of the objectives are fun to complete, the challenges are now fun to do compared to the last one, everything feels like it works in this. The progression systems are neat; a few skill trees covering your equipment and abilities as well as many different weapons and attachments. Due to the stealth requirement.
Grieve Pre-Installed:
The game is obviously meant to be played with friends but the single player experience is pretty good in it’s own way. You only get AI squad mates when playing solo but being able to order them around changes the strategy nicely. I really like the slow progression of difficulty between each levels, almost every level adds in a new mechanic that you have to look out for like trip mines, new enemy behaviour, and threats (although it does mean that early levels could become boring for lacking these mechanics There are no equipment unlocks, meaning that you start with all the tools and can try out everything to find a setup that works. Which might change depending on the mission select. Some customisation options are locked behind level score requirements but most are pretty easy to get.
