A pretty decent platformer game. The gameplay elements of the game which is mainly the platforming stuff and the puzzles are good imo and I think that matters the most. Some of the puzzles actually require you to use your head a little bit 🙂 As for the story, the message they tried to convey is nice but it took for me to reach like level 4 (9 levels in total) to get hooked. What kinda annoyed me was the movement.
Moving around on the skateboard feels too rigid and slow to my input. I don’t know if controller is recommended for this but it definitely does feel that way. I think I like the game`s visual style the most – the locations in particular all look very cool. Most of the locations look very cozy and pleasant, and those closer to the end are more foreboding and atmospheric. The character design is also very nice, especially the protagonist. They all work really well with the more minimalistic aesthetic the rest of the game has, but look suitably distinct and detailed. The music is super-nice too, I really liked how each level has its own musical theme that is essentially a variation on a single core motif: I really hope they release the soundtrack for this separately, as i`ll listen the hell out of it. Hannah’s Day is a cute and quirky skateboarding platforming puzzle game. I love the quirky art style and the world is basically a puzzle that you have to solve to open up more of the story.

You learn more about Hannah who loves skateboarding and wants to put together a band and her friends as well. It’s a unique and creative game. I didn’t really know what to expect from the world and was actually pretty impressed interacting with it. I do have to say if you get motion sickness easily like I do to be prepared. I had to break out my motion sickness wrist bands especially when doing the mechanic where you have to tilt the world. I really like this game and if you want a relaxing game with an interesting world then Hannah’s Day might be for you. I find art style charming and visually appealing. The color palette and design contribute to a whimsical atmosphere. I have not reached the end of Hannah’s Day, my journey thus far has been incredibly enjoyable and thought-provoking. The combination of engaging gameplay, relatable storytelling, and beautifully crafted visuals has made this experience memorable. I’m eager to continue, ready to dive back into Hannah’s world and see where her adventure leads next.
