Really enjoyable little Cat game, love how the colors changes after finding the cat’s, and also when You are on the last cat’s and have a problem finding them, You can hear a meow around the place the cat is hiding Recommend for every Cat Lovers, and thank You Developers for making this cute game. I’m kind of on the fence with Hidden Cats in London. On one hand, it was fun (& at times maddening) trying to locate all 106 Cats that were hiding in every nook and cranny throughout the streets of London.
The biggest difference in this game is color…or lack thereof. For me, watching the buildings, trees, vehicles, and people come to life with bright, vibrant colors, one section at a time, was the best feature. In this edition, ink stains surround the cats as you click on them, and with the exception of a single moving scooter, and a hot air balloon, nothing else transforms into color. If the inkblot feature was offered in the first game of the series, followed by the full-blown color transformation offered in the preceding games, we would probably be floored at the progress from one game to the next. The inkblot feature seemed like a step backward to me?!

The biggest issue with the ink blots was that they were a little too dark and the inkblot often bled over and concealed any neighboring cats in close proximity. This is why you see so many discussions by players who are having issues locating the final two cats! A fun little standalone map. You get to find 106 cats. The only downside is that there is no bonus content, only one map with no advanced mode. It’s easy to beat, but enjoyable. Would recommend the other games in the series more, Hidden cats in London, Hidden cats in New York, as they provide more content. On the other hand, it’s difficult not to compare this edition with its predecessors, which are way more attractive. On the third hand, (don’t judge lol) logic tells me that I paid less than a buck, and it was time & money well spent for the entertainment.
