“I Am Cat” is a sandbox adventure centered around a cat protagonist. Unfortunately many people suffer from a lack of reading comprehension skills and think you need to buy the dlc to access the full game. It sucks that the game is being review bombed due to folks lack of comprehension. Though, Part of this is due to there being no real tutorial that explains you unlock the garage by participating in the “story” and halfway through the first area, you unlock a secret room that has options to buy the dlc pack and it heavily implies a need to pay. So it’s both the devs, and players faults. The tutorial needs to be updated to explain that players gain access to new locations naturally, or the devs need to find a way to let players know spending on the dlc pack is cosmetc only/ a fast track for locations and isn’t a must, to play the full game.
I Am Cat VR From Steam:
The game is fun for what it is, do cat things, complete cat objectives, and unlock new places to be a cat in. Controls are good, and rather funny, especially when jumping into characters in game, and knocking them out. Sadly only 4 locations are in game currently so hopefully multiplayer and new locations don’t take an extreme amount of time to release! I do find only 4 locations in game, to be short in terms of gameplay (6-8 hours) but with muliplayer and a ton of new locations coming in free updates later, it should be fine.

- Once the game is done downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to” (To do this you must have 7-Zip or winrar, which you can get here).
- Double click inside the I Am Cat VR folder and run the exe application.
- Thats all, enjoy the game! Make sure to run the game as administrator and if you get any missing dll errors, look for a file named All In One Runtimes.exe run this and install it.
