I heard all the nonsense about the game too, but I am absolutely happy I tried the demo and paid for the game. These devs clearly had passion for this game, and it shows.

Honestly glad I tried the demo, the game is a lot of fun. It’s a simple adventure but the skill required and speed of combat is a thrill. The story is nothing new but it is interesting and I’m enjoying the mystery and characters. First person action adventure has been missing in action and I’m glad the debut developer put out a great addition to the genre. Really enjoyed the game and had a lot of fun fighting against enemies (I love the sound effects and the battle mechanics). The story was also unique; it had a lot of plot twists, and the characters were built up pretty well. Even the grinding part was kinda fun (especially the puzzles; they are at the right difficulty level for me to find it interesting but not too challenging). I do not regret spending the 12 hours playing it.
