CHOOSE YOUR CHALLENGE – mix keys and runes gathered on your journeys to generate and combine different dungeon encounters. Into the Pit is a fun, fast-paced twitch shooter with randomised offensive and defensive power-ups, as well as randomised dungeons and enemy types. It’s the kind of game you can play for 15-30 mins or longer if you want. The game really shines when external currencies (required for keystones to dungeons, support runes and upgrading support runes) cease to matter and you can focus on the in-dungeon currencies that increase the drop quality of power-ups or let you re-roll your choices. That’s sort of when the game was the most fun.

In order to get to new dungeons, you have to craft its perspective rune to unlock it. In these dungeons, there are 4 arenas per floor. Each arena has 2 different choices that you can pick from. These choices let you choose which node you collect in them. Nodes are the type of currency/resources in the game. You use nodes to buy/craft more runes. There are also nodes that you can only use per floor that affect luck, let you reroll buffs, and revive yourself.
