However, I have completed this game on Hard difficulty only yet, and during my playthrough I have noticed that compared to the first game, AI now is much less active in its tactics, seemingly preferring to set up defence in a room instead of rushing and overtaking with pure numbers – it does make semi-agressive play harder but it feels less dynamic that way. AI you escort also tends to fumble up with pathfinding and stick onto furniture, sometimes forcing you to nudge it outward to progress, however that’s more of a no-biggie fixable with a patch or two.

There is also one thing about controls that was awkward to wrangle: navigating interaction menus. In first game, you could go through these with a mouse wheel but now it’s two separate buttons, and from the looks of it, there’s no way to revert back! One of the best tactical infiltration games on the market. First one was really good but this one is way better. Due to developer being a gigachad you dont have to only go stealth and play like sam fisher, get geared up put on a plate carrier and a modified m4 and go corner to corner by 1tapping. Its all up to your playstyle. I didint dig deep into the difficulty modifiers yet but there is probably a lot of options there too. Really good game for a decent price worth every penny.
