James Peris, the rookie secret agent 00.5 is back! He will have to solve no more and no less than two missions; yes, TWO missions in one game. Hence the 2 in the title… This time Peris will have to deal with a mafia boss and get the lost necklace of Sant Angelo, one of the jewels created by Leonardo Da Vinci. At the same time, he will have to find the mythical Holy Great Beer, a legendary artifact forgotten for centuries. Why leave such important missions to someone so incompetent? We have no such answer. This sequel will solve some of the unknowns raised in the first part, and features two new quests that can be solved at the same time. A great hand-drawn, non-linear, cartoon-style adventure with adult and coarse humor. This game is like a love letter to the originals. The sense of humour, the puzzles brought back so many memories and it is truly a work of heartfelt devotion.
I completed it with my mum and sister on a steam deck while home for Christmas, absolutely incredible. The combat has a surprisingly functional gimmick that perpetually inspires the player to do more than hit attack—fights simply take too long to finish if one is literally that lazy. And here is where the game’s biggest strength shines: The character animations for various attacks are extremely well done. Easily the highest tier of competence in the game was lavished right here. This turns out to be important, since fighting ends up being about half of what they player does in this game.

The music is serviceable with the occasional shining moment. It’s certainly not completely forgettable, but also not something you’d add to your playlist. It’s about as good as, say, the average Sakuraba OST—this is not praise, but not a condemnation. It would have been surprising if the soundtrack had been amazing, but I wasn’t expecting it to be. As is tradition with anime-turned-game, there are ZERO references to the anime’s music, front to back.
