One of the best co-op adventures. At times it doesn’t take itself seriously being really silly, but it also mixes serious themes like divorce. We had to rely on each other’s strengths to progress through the game’s beautifully crafted world. It was both funny and endearing to see my partner struggle to grasp certain game mechanics while I tried my best to guide them through it all. It’s quite a bit of fun to swing around the city initially, and the story is really excellent (even if it is predictable, but not much can be done about that with comic-based media). One thing I really liked about the game is how alive the city felt, you could drop to the sidewalk, walk around and people would talk to you, or interrupt a rooftop gathering/party A beautiful masterpiece of a platformer with puzzles. Despite the relatively simple powers of each character, it is mind-boggling how varying (and occasionally difficult) the puzzles in the game are.

The soundtracks were well made, even give off small hints of the previous franchise soundtracks, which not only makes the veterans of the series more comfortable and used for it’s successor but also gives off many nostalgic feelings of how it felt like playing the series as a teen/younger audience. That doesn’t mean you have to learn to get used to all of them but you will still want to at least try all of them when being in combat. The progressing and leveling those weapons makes it even more entertaining while using them, meaning there can be also a bit of entertainful grind to keep your attention for the game. But not just the weapons but also the suit upgrades you collect throughout your exploring on each planet. Each suit collection will give you better upgrades for the specific part it improvises on then. So not only can you customize your character more, you also get rewards for finding those customizations!
