Just Go Free Download PC game in a pre-installed direct link with updates and DLCs from Steam-repacks.
Just Go Direct Download
The most exquisite and breathtaking Go (or Weiqi/Baduk) game ever made! As one of the oldest board games in the world, the rules of Go are very simple, but it leads to countless number of intriguing patterns and clever maneuvers. if you’re not familiar with the game, at its core it’s as simple as placing black and white stones on a board with the goal of having more territory by the end than the opponent. surrounding a stone of the opposite color (stripping it of its liberties) removes said stone. it’s obviously more nuanced and complicated when you get into it and the game provides some voiced semi-interactive tutorials to get newbies started. they’re available in several languages and you can play with chinese, japanese and korean rules. there’s even a ‘suggest moves’ setting, though those games won’t affect your ranking. there’s a career mode with 3 difficulties. choose a name, nationality and a real-life go association, then build up a whole career, as the name suggests. there’s a schedule, abilities to upgrade, a bunch of training matches of varying difficulties, etc. it’s pretty neat.
A ton of historical matches are also available with some ‘lore’, if you will, and more can be unlocked by leveling up. the background info is also voiced, but annoyingly the lady talks more than what’s written on the screen. full transcript + scrollbar, problem solved. you can either go move by move to see how the games unfolded or try to play them yourself. When I look at it like this the game matching to opponents in career mode starts to make a bit more sense. For example you have been matched with someone a few ranks better than you, so you distribute skills into undoing moves so you can learn from your mistakes against a stronger player (‘defensive strategy, or ‘game sense’) or you can put your skill points into ‘Mindset’ when playing a weaker opponent, so you get more points from your victories.
Just Go Free Steam Pre-Installed:
There is a five-pointed two-dimensional chart to help you see how your in-game character’s skills are currently distributed, and thus which aspects of your game-play are being augmented. If you have found a way to enjoy the game of go already then consider buying this an experiment or a luxury, or maybe to support the dev, it is still getting updates and there may be a lot of improvement. If you are new to go, this could certainly be a way into the game that has been played for thousands of years and for many people is something to enjoy throughout life. But I would point out that if you find JustGo has not been enjoyable, don’t let that put you off go itself. It is a game that can take a long time to get into, that is easy to bounce off of (I bounced off it many times until it clicked for me) but when you find your way into it, it is a forever game.
