And you, will be a real brave MAN! This game is so much fun, especially when played with friends. This game is a puzzle, horror game with so much creativity. Not only have I been jump scared playing it, I also enjoyed it. I’m always waiting for the next level to come out and play. Other than that I like to enjoy playing modded maps and new monsters.
I experienced no technical difficulties on this version of the game. Overall, I enjoyed the main story and core gameplay. Side quests are a bit dull, and after awhile I started skipping over them. Main story is not very long, which personally is a plus for me. There are many well-written and engaging quests or quest chains that just fizzle out or end anticlimactically, both narratively and mechanically. Typically, if you’ve gone above and beyond, you end up getting a garbage-tier weapon that is not worth making a detour for, or another car you’ll never use, and regardless you basically never hear from that character again, except for maybe a text, no matter how long and closely you’ve worked with them. There are of course puzzles you solve to earn rewards and all, but I find the best reward is just discovering new details I’d overlooked. I made four separate characters of each house just to explore each dormitory, because those especially hold treasures and trinkets worth experiencing first-hand.

I avoid using fast travel between quests because I love finding my way while gazing at the walls and statues, walking those hallowed halls, and no matter how often I travel to certain areas I still somehow find different paths to traverse. Your footsteps echo throughout Hogwarts’ stone walls, then crunch across the verdant countryside. People’s voices flutter around you, the winds and whistles of the trees surrounds you, the aches and creaks of old wooden buildings make you feel part of a lived environment. The voice actors do an incredible job at giving each character personality, emotion, a story. The story of this game, while simple, is perfectly balanced with the world. You just have to let yourself go and forget that this is a game with a beginning, middle, and ending.
