When I was a kid and games were very much pixels more than close to photo-realistic as this game can be at times. Not only does it look great but the audio is excellent, it really does play out like a full movie budget type experience. On balance though these are fairly trivial concerns and the graphics are astoundingly good for a game whose budget is undoubtedly many tiers below that of rival titles from much bigger companies. The combat is genuinely interesting, although I wish there was more in the way of enemy variety the actual act of spell casting is genuinely snappy and fun. The enlarged world around Hogwarts is amazing and there are almost endless puzzles and things to accomplish in the huge open world. I really loved the beast collecting and managing part of it.
