About The Game
Lands of Sorcery is a turn based RPG focused on combat, storytelling, sexy women, brutish barbarians and overall craziness. A game inspired by classic sword and sorcery fantasy works, from the writings of Robert E. Howard to 1980’s B-movies like Deathstalker II. Travel to the continent of Akoll, where steel and magic are the law and command a ragtag team of elite fighters to seek your fortune! Lands of Sorcery focuses on combat, equipment upgrades and character development. As you journey through the dangerous lands of Akoll, a cast of brave (or plain crazy) individuals with diverse skills will join you and serve as a traveling hub to improve your fighters. Now I have the average D&D group, that’s fine, let’s go and fight. You have to click on the map, get some boons and now fight turn based against enemies. The special here is, you are limited to your attacks by positioning, the further you are away from the enemy, the more AOE gets unlocked and the closer you are, the powerful single attacks get unlocked. One of the strongest abilities is the stun, you can stun everyone for 1 round and then have to wait 2 rounds to get him stunned again due to his immunity. The game plays itself pretty good. After the fights, you get companions where you can spend your hard-earned gold to upgrade your skill levels and every other stat. That’s great, but way to grindy.
