Last Signal Free Steam Pre-Installed
Last Signal is a short, story-driven, walking simulator, mystery game where player choices change the ending of the game. Engaging First-Person Gameplay: Immerse yourself in a visually stunning and atmospheric world and uncover game’s mysteries. Branching Narrative: Experience a gripping storyline with multiple paths and endings, where your choices are important and shape the outcome of your journey. Will you navigate in the mysterious station and uncover the ultimate truth? The fate of humanity rests in your hands in this thought-provoking and choice-driven adventure. Set in the near future, our story begins with a report of a wormhole. With no signal from the unmanned spacecrafts sent to this anomalous wormhole, our main character Adam ‘Echo’ Winters, a successful astronaut, volunteers for an expedition to this wormhole. Traveling with the space shuttle to the wormhole, Echo faints while passing through the hole and wakes up in a completely different place.
Finding himself in an abandoned station and having no idea how he got here, Echo tries to unravel the mystery of what happened to him with the help of EVE, the artificial intelligence that controls the station, and realizes that everything is more complicated than it seems. Echo begins to realize that this place is not what EVE told him and as he unravels the mystery of what happened, he will go deeper and deeper and uncover one of the greatest secrets of mankind. Rating would be 6 to a close 6.5 if it werent for the high vram demand, a handful of crashes even on medium and low settings, a resolution bug, and overall not being fully optimized as it could be. Despite this I can def recommend it and I loved it, I persevered and got it working on medium settings and played it through for all endings and liked them all! See below for more details on the bugs I got.

So note that u DO need a good enough setup to play this without crashes and on high settings despite being such a short ‘simple’ game. I might not be on the best of gear by now with a 970 and only 4 vram, but a game like this can easily run better without the issues I had. I can play almost all games even big and demanding games on high settings just fine, but typically I see these issues a lot with fresh devs/first games that isnt optimized as well as could be, maybe because they dont know how to yet or use altenative engines/packs etc, or in other cases where they use certain shader assets that doesnt work well on all Linux distros. The issues in this game tho is the fps/optimization stuff and too high vram demand imo. This game is def worth checking out if u like scifi and space stations and the price if more than fair and for just 1 euro. I LOVED the atmosphere and the visuals and hallways on the station. I loved that suit upgrade so u see everything in green and the sound that goes with it.
