The title of the game says it all. Lightning is back one last time as the main protagonist. In this game, she returns as the savior whose job is to guide souls out from the dying world and into the new one. The more quests you complete the stronger you get and the more souls you save. The game gives you a max of 14 days to complete all main quests if you cannot within the time limit then it’s GAME OVER. There will be a clock ticking at the top right corner of the screen pressuring you. At first, I thought this was a horrible mechanic because I’m the type that likes to explore and I absolutely hate being rushed but surprisingly the time limit gave me little trouble as I was able to complete all main quests with 3 days to spare. I used the remaining days to finish up some side quests. Looking back on it now I realize that the sense of urgency made the game all the more enjoyable and immersive. I’ve seen folks complain about this game being too linear but having a massive open world and a time limit is like giving someone wings and chaining them down at the same time. It just wouldn’t work so I could see why they went for a more linear path. T
