About The Game
Little Misfortune is an interactive story, focused on exploration and characters, both sweet and dark, where your choices have consequences. Starring Misfortune Ramirez Hernandez, an imaginative 8-year-old, who seeks the prize of Eternal Happiness, as a gift to her Mommy. Led by her new friend, Mr. Voice, they venture into the woods, where mysteries are unraveled and a little bit of bad luck unfolds. Sharing the same universe with the cult video game Fran Bow, created by the visionary dev-duo Killmonday Games. Little Misfortune – another great game from Killmonday Games, dark and humourous. If you loved Fran Bow, then you definitely should check this one out, if you haven’t yet.
While it’s a bit shorter and less dark compared to Fran Bow, it’s still a very enjoyable and quite amusing game. Led by Mr. Voice, Misfortune goes on an adventure in search for Eternal Happiness as a gift for her mother, but as the name suggests, misfortunes follow our Little Lady Misfortune everywhere she goes. Absolutely loved this game, played through it in one sitting. Took 4 hours to complete, maybe a lil overpriced but its replayability makes it worth it imo. Dark, twisted, but so fun Story plot is ok but I really wish it could be more extensive to shown the great world but instead it’s actually quite small of a world. Difficulty changes from scene to scene for this game in random interval. Sometime you were solving some easy puzzle, and suddenly it turn into a stealth game then suddenly a chase game .. it feels random.Some of the part is quite difficult with enemies that can one hit kill you or sometime you won’t see any real danger for 10 minutes straight in game play. Overall it was still enjoyable enough.
A guide is needed for a lot of the achivement since there is really no story involved achivements. There are some secret ones at the beginning of the game that can easily be missed or a whole bunch of collection achivement that you get as you proceed on the storyFirst of all – story. A heartwarming one. Despite the main character is mute, his body language along friends and enemies tell a great tale. There is a number of characters to be met, all with soul. Everyone is different, has something special in their design, the way they speak, the way they move. All have good and bad sides, like in life, therefore feel true..
