However, while it has a good concept going for it with the relationship and stats systems it fails to really do much with it other than stat boosts. So the game quickly becomes a stat grinder. The characters, while they will comment on your progress with other characters; the town feels pretty dead since these are the only characters that exist there, no background characters or even silhouettes indicating there are other people living there and they don’t interact very often in big ways. No group activities, get togethers, or festivals. It all feels self contained between you and that character. The game has a lot of interesting ideas, soundtrack is good, environment is gorgeous, voice acting is great, and the characters are memorable for the most part.
