Meet Your Oshi Welcome to DweebCon, the pop culture convention that everyone’s dying to attend — even you! This convention is your only chance to meet the new, high-tech animatronics based on your favorite vtuber group, VchiBan! And you’re determined to meet your oshis at any cost. This a great horror FNAF type game. The tasks you have to complete on top of keeping the killer oshiis at bay elevate the game in my opinion. Also the art and play of the game have been amazing. A playful parody of the early FNAF franchise, filled with animatronic versions of V-tubers striking silly poses, and giving you the finger in their relentless pursuit to hug you to death. If you have played either the first, or second Five Nights at Freddy’s game, you know what to expect mechanic wise. But the game is an enjoyable homage to the classic games while throwing in a few surprises as you play. Immerse yourself in an exciting world where you will become a camera master and an expert in solving unexpected technical difficulties. Four animatronics await you, including the mysterious Anthro-y.
The game is interesting. The only problem is that their meet-and-greet sold out before you could buy a ticket; limited supply and all that. The only way you’ll be able to meet your oshis at Dweebcon is by breaking into the convention center and counterfeiting a ticket. Y’know, as one does. You have the ticket file and the best printer in the world; all it will take is one good print of the ticket. This shouldn’t take too long, right? Throughout five nights, you must remain hidden within the convention center security office as the printer churns away at your prized possession. You’ll have to micromanage the printer and deal with mechanical issues such as the ink running out or the fuses bursting. Be careful to conserve power, as the shutters and lights use electricity, and the convention center is strict about power usage within the security booth. Normally this genre of games are not my tea BUT! This was actually really fun! The controls felt nice and smooth. No clunkyness.
Meet Your Oshi Direct Play:
I was able to understand what was go’n on pretty quick. The visual style and art design was frikin Bang on and consistent through out. Characters and story were cracking me up pretty regularly. I had a ball even tho I’m not great at it. My only note I would add is to always have an ESC key to get to a menu or skip cut scenes. But thats it. Would very very much recommend And if you run out of power — or if your oshis find you before you have your ticket…? You’re a gamer, I’m sure this will be no problem for you. A ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’-esque Game where you monitor multiple cameras, resolve sporadic tech issues, and manage your finite power while being hunted by 4 animatronics. and a demonstration of how individuals can come together and make a good product for their fans and push their limits to the best in all possible aspects. I am a big fan of Vchiban and all the amazing talents behind this game.
