At first, where you can explore will be a small area due to not having enough gas for the bike, but once a player upgrades their bike, the world becomes much bigger to explore. For those who like a difficult curve, there is also more difficult modes in the game, including Challenge Mode. It is quite open world and there are many things to do around the beautiful world. The mountains and areas your character play in is very pretty. Although the settings are different in both games, they both have that feel that is similiar in each game. If you personally like post apocalytipc open world games where you can explore while riding a bike around, this is your game.

The story gets stronger in the back half too, built around some good relationships that have subtle interactions and excellent acting. Boozer and Deacon’s friendship can be appreciated due to their equally stubborn behavior. Flashbacks of Deacon with his wife also work quite well at giving players context. A gentle scattering of poignant story moments, sometimes found in the side quests, also elevate the narrative. The roaming hordes of undead “freakers” are to be avoided early, but eventually you’ll need to take some down and these initial fights against hundreds of surging foes are frantic, relentless and absolutely enough to differentiate it from similar titles.
