The nonogram UI is clean, intuitive, bug free, one of the best of its kind and the game is very professionally made in every aspect. The characters are all cute, the story is okay, there are some good laughs occasionally. The soundtrack is also great, but it’s rather short (for this many levels) and repetitive. I have received serious death threats from my gf if I ever play any of the music in the future.
Murder by Numbers Pre-Installed:
Well designed hybrid between Picross and a story-driven detective game. You’re playing as an actress who gets involved in a real murder case, and is assisted by an AI-driven robot. You can use the robot to scan objects and environments for clues, and that’s where the Picross puzzles come in. The story is kind of boring and the culprits are losing huge amounts of objects at every crime scene – including a bullet that links one of them to a 30yo murder case (yes, seriously). But there are a few nice plot twists and the characters are very well done. And most important: the puzzles are great and have a good learning curve. I’m giving it a thumbs up because it’s well made and does what it intends to do very well. However… I didn’t personally enjoy it and won’t continue playing.
