My Little Blood Cult: Let’s Summon Demons Get ready for a Demonic Fishing Adventure. Welcome to the Blood Cult – your devoted followers await. Can’t wait for more updates and to be more interactive during the waiting/fishing portion. Overall super fun so far! My little blood cult is a cozy fishing sim where you can sacrifice cultists and fish for the darkest of demons. to add to your collection. The games itself is easy enough to figure out, especially if you read the dialouge from your fellow cultists. The mechanic i think that may have been a little harder to figure out was the fishing mechanic – which I was able to figure out after some trial and error, and honestly, it was easy enough at that point. I really dont feel there is a tutorial needed.
Take the cozy fishing mechanics you know from games like Stardew Valley and give it a rich, rewarding collection aspect, then add little guys who sacrifice themselves for you just to go fishing. There is no tutorial as of writing which made me use some extra essence until I figured it out. This is, however, good in my opinion. Hand-holding can be frustrating. Definitely has potential, even with the small amount of content available for Early Access. Nice chill fishing mechanics (that become fun once you get the hang of them) meets quirky cult creepiness. Seen games with much higher price tags that have way less polish & potential in Early Access. Would hope the devs add something to the Grimoires that let us know what combo of items have higher chances of summoning which demons (once we’ve caught them once) for help with loading up on specific materials later.
