People are going to post negative reviews for the new gen for PC. Here’s my honest review, I came with low expectations thinking it will be a copy pasta from 2k21-2k22. Yes, it’s not next gen and you’re still on the same stupid boat but the graphics are still pretty good in game for mycareer, the graphics are whatever on the ship same thing just looks different. The quality of life feels better, movement is definitely noticeable and more fluid, the shooting actually feels like a shot, it’s still early but it’s a better 2k for me just with some similar copy pasta stuff from previous years like the NPC’s which they should change. No reason I should be having the same person be my coach every 2k, it just shows they’re being lazy with those things. If you’re here for mycareer stuff I recommend it because it feels better, looks better but if you’re here for online play it’s basically pretty similar to 2k22 and it’ll be better for you to wait till it’s on discount.
NBA 2K23 Pre-Installed:
First of all, the game is HARD. REALLY HARD. Nevertheless, it’s the first time that I’ve encountered a game which is literally unplayable with keyboard, so I had to buy and learn how to use a PS controller. Once I got used to the controls and learnt some basic stuff, ~30-ish hours have already passed. It offers a steep learning curve and requires precision. ESPECIALLY when shooting. It’s really hard to actually make an open shot. Later on you somewhat get used to the bar and improve your character so that he makes your shots more often, so that helps. Your character – yeah, there’s a story mode. You make your own player, follow a not so great storyline and very rarely you get to pick a dialogue option which may increase or decrease your fanbase and teams’ chemistry. Other than that you don’t really have any control of it. It all depends if you’re playing good or bad. Aaaaand you always sound black, even if you make a white character, which is funny. During your career it’s all looking like a real deal.
