Please note that Nekopara Vol. 0 is a fandisc for NEKOPARA Vol. 1What’s NEKOPARA? Why, it’s a cat paradise! This is a story just before Kashou opened “La Soleil“.Enjoy a page from the leisurely, daily lives of Shigure and the Minaduki household’s catgirls. The story starts as Shigure wakes up Chocola and Vanilla before the three move to wake up Kashou. They enter his room only to find it empty, causing Shigure to sigh as he’s likely left the house to practice baking. The three of them then snuggle into Kashou’s freshly-used futon and fall asleep holding his pillows and sheets. Nekopara is a visual novel series, so the majority of the gameplay consists of the player reading the game’s story. Nekopara does not offer choices to the player throughout gameplay, and the player has no influence over the story. The games are fully voiced (except for the protagonist) and use a system called “E-mote” that allows the in-game characters to be animated, instead of stationary sprites. Nekopara Vol. 0 added a new feature where the player can click on characters in-game, to “pet” them. The characters will react in different ways depending on where the player pets them.
