Nexus PI is a sci-fi detective noir game centering on Max, a private investigator with the ability to jump in between realities in her search for something within the multiverse that could prevent a climate catastrophe in her home reality. You must explore two drastically different realities to see what makes one a near utopia, and the other a complete dystopia, and in doing so have the power to doom or save whole realities. Nexus PI is a narrative driven environmental puzzle game that explores the two distinct realities the player finds themselves in. Players must investigate clues about what happened to the R&D lab they are exploring, as well as what potential technologies they can use to save their own reality. Swap between two distinct realities Collect and read documents to investigate the history of the two realities and discover what can prevent the climate disaster impacting Max’s home world.

I appreciate that the game features solid voice over work. The story itself is interestin’ as we try to uncover the tech of another dimension to help our own. I ran into a glitch of sorts towards the end of my session when it came to the notes screen.
Nexus PI Free Steam Pre-Installed:
For each job you have an evidence board menu where you can pin any collected evidence and draw connection between pieces of evidence. As you gather information about citizens they have their own file filled in, so eventually you can pick up an arrest job for example and immediately know who the target is without having to investigate since you already have the information. I wish there was some kind of loan system, or simply increase payouts/reduce prices. But at the same time, it’s not necessarily a negative as difficulty to make profit can provide a great challenge to keep going forward and keep coming back to the game.
