No Delivery Direct Download
No Delivery is a procedurally generated CRPG, pizzeria simulator where you are the newest in a long line of employees for a local decrepit pizza parlor. Despite the rumors, shady history, and missing persons cases, you sign up for the night shift because it pays slightly more and all the kids’ birthday parties should have ended by then… Content Warning: Flashing + Strobing Lights and effects, gore, animal death, mild language, and suggestive themes. The following is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to actual events, person(s), or places is purely coincidental. I can’t say that I ever played a JRPG game exactly like this, the way the dev structured progression was very unusual – when you die you switch between different characters, but you keep the progress between the runs. Essentially you start exploring a pizza place with only a few available rooms, but as you get around the area gets much larger with a lot of secrets, different endings, and just convoluted mind games. It can be a little confusing at first, some of the number balancing can make the game a bit hard in the first 30 minutes, but it’s not a difficult game once you know how to take advantage of certain items.
You can find one of the endings in about 3 hours, however, the game is not truly complete at that point, there is a bunch of extra content including different endings, so I would say it’s closer to 5 hours, and even then, I have not found everything. It’s kind of one of those games where you hunt for various secrets, sometimes you have to think outside the box, and I do think the game does a good job in terms of being very creative and unpredictable. I think a lot of games from RPG-Maker or similar formats tend to fall into the same basket and repeat the same ideas, especially when it comes to horror games, but I thought this game was very unusual, you can tell there was a lot of effort put into the overall design and just making something more unique.
No Delivery Pre-Installed:
The actual JRPG mechanics were not terrible, but it’s definitely not the highlight of the game, frankly, I just don’t think the numbers were balanced all that well, or the progression for that matter, the game can feel too hard at first, but actually gets too easy because you can abuse some of the items to a point where the enemies can’t even make a turn. You don’t really power up your character in a traditional sense, the only way to get stronger is to find something within the game like an item or a new skill, or unlock another party member.
