About The Game
Onirism is an Action/Adventure game where you play as Carol, a little girl full of energy and imagination with an attitude. One night, she is waken up by a strange portal appearing in her bedroom. A mysterious creature emerges from it and steals her Bunbun plushie away ! Without any hesitation, Carol goes through the portal to chase it. She ends up in Crearia, a fantastic world inhabited by strange lifeforms. Discover the first 4 Chapters of the adventure and Explore the first 9 areas of Crearia Find over hundreds of unique and different weapons and gadgets and unlock power ups in a metroidvania fashion Find hidden bonus levels in Crearia Play with or against your friends in a variety of co-op and versus gamemodes Onirism follows Carol, a spunky little girl searching for her stolen bunny plushie in a platform shooter with a similar presentation to Ratchet & Clank, but with a big focus on movement.
There are a bazillion weapons and costumes to collect, many powers and environmental gimmicks to make you soar around as well as a bunch of Metroid-style upgrades scattered in gashapon capsules hidden around the world. The game also features GORGEOUS dream-like grand environments in every level and constantly pays homage to old and modern classics without falling into the trap of depending on pop culture references, never forgetting to be its own thing. Unlike ye old Early Access M.O. of releasing a barebones but cool concept to rave reviews and reception then just up and disappear, the developers of this game only ever market it in local cons and are basically just working on the game, adding not only more levels but new ways to play, then going back to MASSIVELY overhaul older parts of the game with art pass and expanding the levels to adopt the new gameplay features and mechanics.

Basic premise is that you’re a little girl running through what I can only assume is dreamland after a shadowy bastard who for some reason really wanted to steal your plushie. Your attacks involve an umbrella for melee and various toys for ranged like a blow dryer (pistol,) a nerf cannon (shotgun,) a super soaker (machine gun,) and a flare gun (sticky grenades. However unlike a lot of games where the kid would be freaking out, you’re a little badass who stares down the enemies and tells them off for picking on a little plushie man, and when they laugh at your character she just smirks, pulls out her little pink blow dryer, and opens fire. Early on I found a teleporter that took me into a series of caves. These caves were lit only by little fireflies that burned out after a short while (they go from blue to yellow to red to indicate how close they are to disappearing) and are full of moving platform jumping puzzles.
