Otaku’s Adventure” Is A Different Kind Of Avg. The story tells of an Otaku who has been single for many years and thirst for love. While he inadvertently embarks on a fantastic journey, he eventually wins girls’ love. The game combines storytelling with alternative TAKAGISM, and includes a variety of mini-games, as well as different types of battles, which brings players different experience and fun in compare to previous games. JPRG game, but what makes the game special is the strong, character developments among major and minor characters via Social Links. Social Links are represented of the protagonist’s relationships among characters.
This usually starts from acquaintances, associates, or classmates and evolves to closest friends, allies, or romantic relationships. Social Links are also associated to the characters’ Arcana such as Chariot, Priestess, Lovers, Emperor, and many more. Social Links, in some way, can be associated to a character’s personality. An example would be a character who constantly flirts with the protagonist is associated to the Lovers’ Arcana. The advantages of Social Links are ranged from further EXP points for Persona fusions to the specific Arcana,
Otaku’s Adventure Direct Play:
The voice acting performances in the game is astonishing and perhaps one of the voice casting ensembles ever assemble in a video game. For the English dub version, there’s Johnny Yong Bosch, Troy Baker, Laura Bailey, Yuri Lowenthal, Karen Strassman, and so much more. The performances are top notch to the point where I honestly would give them an Oscar for best actors and actresses. It’s a rare gem of which I prefer the English version over the native Japanese voiceovers (the Japanese cast is also excellent, but it all comes down to personal preference or acting performances) because my gosh, the English voice acting is A+++. Additionally, the original soundtrack for the game is catchy, memorable, and sometimes emotional.
