More seriously, this visual novel is an incredibly fulfilling experience that does an amazing job at developing and exploring the different life stages which it covers, using your relationship with Cove as the sort of catalyst of that has you helping to build up yourself, build up Cove, and build them as a partnership. The acceptance and inclusion of very obvious queer elements (your parents are a lesbian couple, you can have the player transition at any point which I did to reflect my own experience, another character transitions, and more spoilery but also really obvious for the game I genuinely love this game. It was one of those games that Steam recommends based on other games you’ve played, and boy, did they nail it with this one. I was instantly obsessed and finished my first play through over one weekend. You can customize nearly everything about your main character, and what I really loved was being able to use they/them pronouns. You can also switch pronouns at any of the four stages of the story, so the ability to make your character transgender was a huge draw for me.
