Learn new rituals and tea-making styles to make an endless combination of recipes. Build relationships with the townsfolk, and visit their teahouses to purchase exclusive teaware and ingredients. There are over 10 unique characters in town for you to get to know, with 7 distinct teahouses to visit, and endless tea combinations to try! Make tea in a number of different styles and teaware, and choose what to serve the townsfolk and customers (but don’t forget, they all have their own likes and dislikes!). Starting a new life in an old teahouse can come with its own challenges, but it’s nothing a bit of fresh paint, hard work, and a few cups of tea can’t fix! Upgrade and customize your teahouse with your own choice of decor, and unlock new items from the townsfolk to help in your tea-making endeavors.
Having tea together is more than just a drink, it’s a chance to get to spend time together– you’ll learn what tea means to others through various rituals, ceremonies, and one-on-one conversations. Pekoe is a relaxing game about making tea for cats! The characters are engaging and all have interesting designs and unique personalities. As you progress you can customize the look of your room and even your tea set! I love the tactile feel of mixing the tea with the mouse, it feels a bit like Potion Craft in that regard. There are some bugs but I’m writing this on the first day of release and the team is very responsive in the discord. My only complaint is that sometimes I lose a customer because of a bug but I’m sure it will be ironed out. I love this little tea-making game!! It’s in Early Access so lots more content to come, and the parts I’m looking forward to the most are collecting new teaware and filling out my ingredients pantry so I can make infinite tea combinations for my cats.

I’m personally more of a coffee guy myself but I like cats so I guess tea is fine. This game is very character driven and I’ve been having fun getting to know each one over a cup. I’m a big fan of the stylized art style. I find it reminds me of Animal Crossing in it’s characters and story. The game is early access and some bugs do occur but nothing that has stopped me from enjoying my time here. I would highly recommend if you want a relaxing and adorable experience. light-hearted cat game with lovely 3D houses and rooms that resemble cute toy blocks! There are a few bugs (the most egregious tea-making process is during Cardamom’s, somehow the lemon I placed in the cup keeps jumping out and I couldn’t pour water into the cup from the kettle for some reason), but not too game-breaking.
