Please, Don’t Touch Anything 3D Direct Download
Please, Don’t Touch Anything is a cryptic, brain-racking button-pushing puzzle game. Covering for a colleague taking a bathroom break, you find yourself in front of a mysterious console with a green screen monitor showing a pixelated live image of an unknown city. Also present is an ominous red button with the simple instruction to not touch anything! Push the red button once or press it many times. Your choices and actions will lead to outrageous consequences and over 30 unique puzzle endings. Scavenge the room for clues, tools, and buttons to solve riddles and trigger explosive events. This deceptively simple console has many mind-blowing surprises for you. This updated version of the classic game features all new high-quality visuals, new mechanics, updated classic endings with new solutions, and a slew of new endings. But where are the solutions to the puzzles? What’s stopping someone from constantly guessing? While there is no stopping someone from constantly guessing the solution, it becomes unlikely as each ending needs specific conditions. Some are number puzzles, and going through all the possibilities may take longer than figuring out the solution. The solution is all around you. All you have to do is determine where they could be and where to put them or how to decipher them. Some are in plain site, but others will become visible with interactions or seeing from a different perspective. Along with this, you must remember what you see, as it is often located in a different path. Each solution also opens up multiple endings that results from different interactions.
Go ahead, press the button. You know you want to. Some graphics tend to glitch through each other, such as the sleeve of the guy’s arm, or the screwdriver through the lockers at the back. The crosshair used for button pushing seems to have some unwieldy issues, such as pushing a button it wasn’t directly pointed at. Otherwise I must have really big fingers in the game. Lastly, some spare animation and sound issues, where the hammer won’t hit, or screwdriver won’t make the “denied” sound. The ultimate goal is to unlock all 30 endings, each characterized with a light beneath the table and a poster. One to tell you which numbered ending it was while the other to decorate your wall with posters. The red button, which is quickly revealed to be the main one, is the starting point. Other buttons, switches, and compartments are uncovered as progress is made. While there are endings that can easily be achieved, you will not go far without puzzling over various text and objects around you. In fact, one of the first puzzles have you find out a code that unlocks other interactions and puzzles. Once this first puzzle is solved, it quickly picks up as you learn where everything goes. While it does keep to it’s roots, it has a whole room to work with.

Throughout the game, music is constantly played in the background, characterized by a radio. Once you get used to the background music, it is easily forgettable until it changes. The sound effects, for the most part, is in the perfect middle. You can hear it and the background music without any problems. The distance between you and the sound is also taken into consideration. Taking away sound only to add to the atmosphere and the experience. The voice-acting of the friend may be one of the things that need to have a higher volume. It seemed like it had a lower volume than the music and was almost drowned out by it. The only sound effects that is not great is the phone’s. Pressing the numbers can result in a high pitched beep, and hearing this over and over can be grating. The static when first picking up the phone can also be difficult to listen to. While the dial-tone and messages is not as bad, it does not help that it followed other displeasing sounds.
