Prison Alone is a psychological horror game set up in an empty prison. Some strange things started happening in this place, including disappearance of some people. While trying to investigate this further, the authorities ordered that all the prisoners should be transferred, but you bribed one of the guards to be left behind and use this opportunity to escape from the prison. But it won’t be that easy. Prison Alone focuses on exploration with a tense environment. you must find ways to enter places you usually wouldn’t have access to, solve puzzles to unlock new areas, find access keys left behind, all while the atmosphere of suspense and tension dominate you. The game does not contain jumpscare! But that doesn’t mean that you won’t feel afraid, or be scared by something while playing, everything was designed to leave you frightened and tense. Deep Space 7
In Prison Alone, you get to explore a large prison facility. Mainly you will be searching for keys and post-it notes in order to progress. There’s also documents and letters spread out in the entire facility, which essentially are secrets, but they also provide some backstory to what has previously taken place inside of the prison facility. In order to progress, you will also need to carry out a small amount of puzzles. The location is so well-crafted, it’s super convincing and the setting & size allows for exploration, while it has dynamic features to ensure you’re engaged along the way. The eerie tones comes in many different forms in Prison Alone, basically every time we enter a new room, the atmosphere changes. Sometimes the same room can even have multiple forms, depending on your current actions/progress in the area. Very nice experience.
Prison Alone Free Steam Pre-Installed:
The game respects your time, and the puzzles are easy to get into. While the main focus of the game doesn’t revolve around those puzzles, it still would have been nice to see some different types of puzzles. Great that the puzzles are so easy to pick up on, but a bit more complexity and variation of puzzles would not hurt in this case at all. Another point to make here is that it can easily feel tedious to look through every cell. I feel like a fifth of the cell-doors could have been closed, and we would experience the same amount of exploration but just in a less tedious way. Genuinely a great experience to go through the large and eerie facility. I did go through it multiple times in order to find the various secrets, and I wouldn’t say it became boring. Parts of it, a bit tedious, as mentioned regarding the many cells.
