Quickclaw Pre-Installed:
Amazing sequel to the original game. I love the gameplay, graphics upgrade, and most of all, the music. The orchestral score is so good, especially the main menu music. A way more complex story with twists I never expected. I would say I was somewhat disappointed. Platforming and power usage is almost copied whole hog from Psychonauts 1. It makes it feel instantly familiar to a longtime fan such as myself, but it never really evolves past the place it starts. Level design is fantastic (as usual for the series) and striking, but here too the sequel plays tribute in large ways to the original game at the cost of doing things which are surprising and new. Would you like to arrange sets on a stage to allow yourself to platform to different needed locations again? Well you will, but it feels like a failure to innovate rather than a loving call-back sometimes.
