I really am enjoying trying a lot of different ship types all with unique in-game upgrade paths and abilities. For me, the game was definitely challenging at first even on the easier difficulties but once you start unlocking ships and “turn the corner” on getting some unique and more powerful upgrades you can really start digging into the game, and start gradually ratcheting up the difficulty. I don’t imagine I’ll ever finish it on the “real” harder difficulties but I’m still enjoying the sense of accomplishment from getting better at the game, finishing it on an easy difficulty and then start working through a harder difficulty. leaderboard to see how you stack up against other pilots.
