Recolit Video Game is a pixel art puzzle-adventure game where you search for lights in a town where night never ends. Your spaceship crushes, and you find yourself in a dark town that looks just like any other, but that has something different about it. Its people go about their daily lives as if nothing was off, even though the sky above their heads is always black. Falling from the sky you land in a mysterious town where light guides your way. The errands themselves aren’t that interesting though. The splendor of the pixel art and the effective production that brings a sense of loneliness are superb. Although it doesn’t feel very original that it progresses through a dark world while turning on the light with a gimmick. The concept is well-developed, so I’m sure you’ll be satisfied with it. However, the story and background settings are only hinted at and are hardly told until the end. If you’re expecting something like that, you might want to stop playing. It can be said that this is a game where you can just enjoy the atmosphere and production. Having sunk in the heart of your memories, your only hope of finding the light is to help your companions. A cozy game where the universe and your memory unite for a journey filled with melancholy. It’s a very cute little game, with a lot of puzzles that are very intuitive to me (which is a big help, since I don’t like puzzle elements that much), and a lot of things that make people smile.
Recolit Pre-Installed:
A little star in the hustle and bustle. It is best to watch it shine in a quiet environment where you can hear the sound of the air conditioner. If you want to complete all the achievements, you can also enter each chapter again (what a convenient function! Although I didn’t do all the achievements XD) And highly recommended to purchase along with the soundtrack. Then I’m really grateful to see Mr. Flankoi’s localization of Traditional Chinese!! which may not be eye-catching. But it’s like a star shining slightly in the dark… The pixel art is very nice, and the overall dark tones are very comfortable to look at. The BGM that appears briefly after each paragraph is simply a stroke of genius. Then I pay special attention to the sound effects: the sound of placing a tea cup on the wooden table, the sound of electricity turning on the lights, the sound of walking footsteps, the collision of the tram and the track…
