In this original creation inspired by Charles Perrault’s tale “Little Red Riding Hood”, RED is accompanied by her friend Birdy, a little bird, in the fictional world of the 6 Kingdoms. It’s a complex imaginary world with different types of creatures and landscapes: the Black Forest invaded by giant spiders, caves… On foot, on the back of a bumblebee, or even in a wagon hurtling down a snowy mountain at full speed, Red and Birdy will go beyond the forest, cross a frozen world and the depths of a volcano, meet fairies, trolls, and much more fantastic still… In order to save his grandmother, Red will have to show courage and surpass herself. Through hardships, she will eventually discover her own story. This extraordinary adventure will make children and parents discover that even when you are small, from the top of your small shoulders, you can accomplish extraordinary things.
The levels itself are mostly linear, with some small branching paths to find some treasure. Some people compare this game to a movie with some quick time events, and for some levels they’re not that far off. It’s still really fun to explore this, again, gorgeous world and solve the, albeit few, riddles along the way. Only downside: The treasures are only glowing bubbles hidden somewhere where an experienced gamer can say “That’s where I would hide a treasure” (and sometimes there are hidden even more ridiculous…). Congrats if you can find even 10 of these things without a guide and scanning each corner several times to make sure you don’t miss anything. Combat does happen occasionally between all the exploration.

The game is designed to make sure you stealth as much as possible and reside to guns only if necessary. This makes it more strategic, which I liked a lot. I’m not at all used to gun play in games, but I did manage quite good nonetheless. Chloe first met Nate in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. They have a romantic relationship in the 2nd game. She is one of the main characters in the series. The way he utilizes his web swinging skills is also noticeably different from Peter’s but in a good way. It is exactly how I imagine myself how fun would it be if I were a Spider-Man. There are lots of air-tricks that you can perform in addition to the new fluid looking animations.
