You left the planet 200 years ago in search of a new life on the colonies, now you’ve returned against your will and must fight to survive in the post-apocalyptic world you once called home. As you explore the world, you’ll encounter different enemies and bosses soaked with lore. Slaying them can reward you with new grimoire, relic era currency, parts for your ship, and mysterious treasures. Your home has mutated and evolved since you’ve been gone. Explore the vast ruins of the city to the desolate valleys of the wasteland and uncover secrets of the past and present. On your journey you’ll make new friends who can reward your efforts of bravery and meet merchants who will sell you important items and weapons in exchange for the spoils of your adventure.
Purchase, unlock, and upgrade powerful new weapons to fight enemies. Keep your favorite weapons and upgrade them throughout the game with mastery points. We are monitoring the number of wishlists and will translate to the languages that have the most wishlists first. So be sure to wishlist so we know there is interest! All aspects of the game, from visual to audial, captured the world perfectly. At the end, all I kept wishing was that it was just a bit longer, as my full journey only lasted about 3 hours. This game has a great aesthetic with some really stylized dystopian environments to explore. The sound design also adds nicely to the visuals to create a compelling atmosphere that matches the gameplay really well. Combat is fairly simple but can be challenging at times, with enough variance in the enemies to keep things interesting.

Going into it, thought it would be a basic sci-fi tale, going off the first few cutscenes. Was pleasantly surprised, especially by the zombies. The bulk of the storytelling is told through the items you’ll find yourself picking up, especially when there’s a couple plot threads going on at once. Controls are simple and effective, but it did take a while for me to figure out you had to hold the accept button on the map in order to fast-travel. I thought it was to set waypoints! Shout out to Jake for the amazing sound design that helps bring it all to life. So stoked to finally be playing the game in it’s full release. Well done!
