Rhythm Stones is a 3D rhythm game in which you cross the moving stepping stones to the beat. The stepping stones move in various types of 3D space; flat, cylindrical, spherical, and random! Rhythm Stones lets you press any key to play, but can you get past all of the difficult beats until the end? The more you lose a level, the more health-increasing items appear. No matter how difficult the stage is, if you keep trying you will surely succeed! Rhythm monsters help you know the next beat, so it’s very important to memorize each rhythm monster’s pattern. In particular, the black rhythm monster (8th note) and the green rhythm monster (quarter note) appear the most!
I absolutely love this game and I’ve been having a blast playing this with my buddy. The charming and pretty graphical style drew me in at first, along with it being a co-op game. It’s very fun to play with a friend and it’s quite enjoyable coordinating with them while trying not to get blown up, but it’s even fun to play solo! The soundtrack is perfect and elevates the atmosphere of the game. Some characters are obviously better than others, but I still like using all of them. There’s plenty of things to unlock/power up which adds some replayability other than just enjoying the gameplay.

Ship of Fools is a 2 player co-op game that’s well worth its $15 pricetag. Combat is made up of balancing keeping on the offensive with cannons and melee attacks with defending through melee combo knockback, melee to put out fires, and charged melee attacks to deflect projectiles while dodge-rolling through the occasional stun beam attack. There’s a lot to juggle and it’s a lot of fun. Between fights, you’ll navigate a map for different loot and shops to beef up your characters and ship for upcoming fights.
