Road To Salvation is a stylized action-adventure game set in the 80s. The world is destroyed in the game. In these years of survival of the strong, your daughter was kidnapped. You will try to save your daughter safely. You will arrange and make many agreements. In these wars where you will return from the dead, your closest comrade has been yours.’Your car.’ Very careful not to lose what you have while searching for your daughter. This is where you need to produce your own bombs and make the most appropriate choices. the difficulty level of this game was also different from that of its predecessor. I had the feeling that all paths in innocence were already laid out and also always very obvious. while in requiem you can approach each chapter completely differently. in my first playthrough of the game a lot was tricky and even though I was frustrated a few times, it was a lot of fun.
however, chapter to chapter the experience unfolds in different ways. That said Uncharted 4 suffers from excessive use of repetitive mechanics. Game opens up with a look in late game, then jumps back to Nate’s past (when he was kid in orphanage) to explain a little bit of his relationship with Sam and then once again, it jumps back to future that unfolds Nate’s married life with Elena to picture his daily life. This is a couple hours in the game and pretty much you have done nothing but navigating corridor to corridor or moving from point A to point B. HOWEVER, as good and as emotional and as dramatic this sounds like, Nate is not clearly keen on this and the only reason Nate sets foot on this path is to rescue Sam from his debt (which is a made up story just to get people petty on him). There is no sense of family with this brothers and its ODD that Nate broke his promise of having a adventure free life. this happens while game tries to show Nate is thirsty for one last crazy adventure which contradicts with the entire setup.
Road To Salvation Direct Play:
Rafe is not really an interesting cuz he is often not close to even being a threat to game. He does not have any dominating presence, he appears as opposite side of Sam, another fellow being obsessed finding Henry treasure. Nadine tho, introduced as Shoreline leader, receives a bit more story and development through the game itself and poses herself more in spotlight than Rafe. This section of game also introduces the player to stealth and it takes you around a boring stroll of caves and clifs and the usual platforming that just drags too long before exploring a crypt with some interesting puzzles. The next chapter, takes the gang to a more open area where you use a car to traverse the linear but bigger areas with a few rooms for exploration and treasure hunting.
