Capture picturesque memories with a mysterious “camera” device, and much more. Inspire the finefolk from all over to work as one world-spanning crew to save the seas and the planet. The fleet system is really cool, you can buy a passing ship for ship parts to add them to your fleet, and it will copy your ship customisation and sail around with you. Each ship has different stats and different positions for their weapons, some fire forwards and some fire broadside. You can edit the name, equipment and crew of any of your fleet ships at any time, you can find new crew members sitting on rocks or by sinking enemy ships and each one gives a different bonus to your ship.
Sail Forth Direct Play:
I was utterly amazed by the inclusion of the proper wind system. While proper sailing and tacking simulation is nothing new, not many games go all in to make the sailing have elements of realism. Huge props for the ship designs. They are utter eye candy and its a pleasure to sail them. The inclusion of Xebec and Brigantine are also hugely welcome! I wish there were more ships. The combat is dynamic but not punishing. The swappable ship modules add variability to how one does naval combat. The soundtrack while is fairly repeatable, never gets old. The music feels natural and perfectly captures the serene gameplay. If you are in a mood for a Wind Waker inspired, naval battle infused adventure, I greatly recommend this game. It perfectly captures the naval spirit and in a casual and enjoyable package.
