About The Game
From the creators of Sakura Spirit… comes a brand-new angelic love comedy! Two girls, blessed with magical powers, are faced with the task of saving the lonely protagonist from the clutches of a mysterious witch and ancient evil, sealed away long ago by his ancestors. What does this sorceress want from our protagonist? Find out more in Sakura Angels! Kenta, a high school student, keeps thinking about monsters which haunt him. When a monster does appear in front of him on his way to school, he thinks it’s the end of his life. Suddenly, two guardian angels, Sayaka and Hikari appear before him and eliminate the monster. Later on, they transfer to Kenta’s school to keep him safe as their objective is to protect Kenta from the monsters.
Compared to Sakura Spirit, this Visual Novel has a similar art style and has some improvements. The lighting on the backgrounds will change a bit so that the picture isn’t just “still” and the backgrounds are more vibrant. The fight scenes are more interesting to watch with varied illustrations. There’s a bit more action compared to the “2 girls standing and talking” kind of scenes. Sakura Angels was the second of a series of cultural adult VN released here on Steam. You play as the GenericProtagonist#1 who ends up caught in the battle between good and evil. Though the storyline is pretty much linear, there are few choices and 3 possible endings. Your choices will determine which CG you unlock and you’ll likely need a few playthroughts to get all of them. The characters are the typical ecchi troupe, but I liked one of them anyway – so, kudos. As usual, expect ecchi humour all around. Linux port is perfect (Renpy), but no achievements. There are 21 CGs and cards, but no H-patch either. This was short but rather decent and better than their previous one, Sakura Spirit.
