They form a decent basis for a variety of playstyles or they would if some of the more peripheral characters had better abilities. Something that becomes more apparent on harder difficulties. Each weapon has its own characteristics from the type of firing, reload requirement and damage output. Some need to be charged to fire. Melee weapons can be thrown. Weapon types can be upgraded to cause extra bleeding, critical, damage over time, stun or piercing damage. Then you’ll run through about five levels, each with its own boss. In each level, you’ll find a variety of weapons from different classes, sometimes rare weapons which are very powerful. But ammo is always in short supply! This all culminates in a big boss battle at the end of the game.
Fun and graphics/atmosphere are great. I think they should try to make it a lil more strategic when it comes to tower defense. I’m not entirely sure how, but being able to sell turrets for some of what you payed for on it would be nice. Selling weapons you don’t want, or maybe certain upgrades would be a good implementation too. Also, higher rarity weapons should do a lil more than just make the overall stats stronger. This game has loot that actually benefits minion builds VERY well. I feel the unique items are one of the strongest in the genre. As an example i found one that had 4 great affixes that was better than what i had You can just switch it out. The skills are learned by adding points into the character so you are not limiting your skill selection in this way. That said you get 5 skill specializations slots. This is where the LE skills SHINE in my opinion.

You like summon skeleton? add it to your skill specialization and customize it even further by leveling it up. each level allows you to slot into its own skill small skill tree. Some of the best moments come from when the game slows down rowing a boat listening to the characters talk, a final walk up to the highest peak. The performances, dialogue, sound design and music all come together to pull you into this beautifully crafted world, leaving you with a bittersweet craving for more. What I thought was going to be one long epic journey filled with epic fights against mythical gods turned out to more so be an errand run around the lake of nine where one trinket after the next needs to usually be dug up to progress the main intrigue.
