About The Game
Fallen corporate shogun Lo Wang and his former employer turned nemesis turned sidekick Orochi Zilla embark on an improbable mission to recapture an ancient dragon they unwillingly unleashed from its eternal prison. Armed with a punishing mix of blades and bullets, Lo Wang must traverse uncharted parts of the world to track down the dark beast and push the apocalypse back yet again. I’m a huge fan of the classic and rebooted franchise so I might be a bit bias. There is a lot more jokes in this one compared to all the other games and sometimes Wang doesn’t shut up, sort of disappointed I haven’t come across any edgy/offensive quips as of yet as that’s something I like about Wang’s character from the other games and such. I will be spending my further free time into completing this game and writing a proper full review.
So far tho I am loving it and as much as I miss the formula from Shadow Warrior 2 (Open Areas, Arsenal Customisation, Co-Op, RPG elements) I am still having a huge blast. Performance wise the game is well optimised my trusty 1070ti seems to hold up a pretty solid 60 fps @ 1440p at high settings across the board and the game looks absolutely stunning with only a few dips into the low 50s in very busy scenes which is understandable considering my hardware. I am still unsure how i feel on the linear direction the game is taking although i feel it could just be a super long intro mission, also note that the developers have pored a lot of time into level design and it really shows with many of the encounters.
