This is a story of Shapik, traveling through magic forest in search of his missing sister. Explore a beautiful world, full of mystery, magic and danger and find your missing sister, solving puzzles on your way. Backgrounds and characters were drawn by hand. You will find very many seemingly inconspicuous details. Just stop and take a closer look. In this story you will not find a single text line. The whole story is told using animated “bubble thoughts”. Our music maker composed atmospheric music to make you feel all the twists and turns and exciting moments of the plot. Listen up when you’re tired of exploring locations. Peaceful game about a mystical world, which doesn’t rely on violence or other 18+ themes to bring attention to itself. As a fan of Sierra’s and Westwood’s oldschool point and click quests, I’m impressed by how this game has zero text, yet conveys everything it needs to be a complete experience. Extra points for everything drawn by hand.
I will be honest: At first I bought the game to support Paul Podberezko, after seeing his post in /r/ukraine about developing this game in a time of war. At the time I didn’t care about the game quality, just about a human being going through a challenging time and being able to deliver on a project. His history motivated me. But then, I gave the game a spin and I really liked it, even without spending that much playing point and click adventures. This game is beautiful, has a great pace, with a well done and calming sound track. And also challenging, which I was not expecting. Fortunately, the game does not overwhelm you with options because each chapter focuses on a single scene. There are approximately twenty chapters. Although you can replay any unlocked scene, there is only one reason for doing so: the game contains ten secret items scattered throughout the game that unlock additional images. You’re not sure where they are, but you can see their silhouette in the menu.

Because you won’t have to grab everything that isn’t nailed down, each scene has only a few hotspots. You can only move left and right, and hotspots appear in a large circle when you get close, making them difficult to miss. Some interactions include a friendly bee that flies about you. These hotspots have a unique icon. A minor quibble is that some hotspots become available only after you learn about them or need them to solve a problem. Items are used, but only in certain instances. You have no inventory, so you’ll grab an object, hold it in your hand, and utilize it in the same scene. The game focuses on simple logic puzzles similar to those seen in many other games. There’s a tile puzzle in which you must turn them to form a path, vegetables in various shapes that must be arranged in a box, cogs that must be inserted into holes to start a machine, and so on.
