Dragons were long thought to be extinct, and because Yuma holds the ability to transform into the Shining Dragon, he was taken as a captive of the Empire. The Combat System, despite some nice ideas, feels heavy and boring. You’re supposed to feel pleasure in fighting enemies, but this will disappear after a few hours, as the game will force you to fight well over the necessary in order to win the needlessly complicated Boss Fights. The Plot has potential, but the characters are quite stereotyped, to the point you might lose interest in the adventure they go through. And here I thought Star Ocean: The Last Hope had boring characters, but at least fighting was exciting and the Plot was good.
Here you will also find romances, unfortunately they advance at a really slow pace.
