You’re a lonely lil’ bird, and your Big Friend has hung up their board for good. Their job sucks, and lately, they’re barely ever home to play with you. You’re gonna fix all that with the power of being a chill little skateboarding bird. You may be tiny, but the more you skate, the more friends you’ll make. It’s great how this game manages having potential both for casual and for min-maxing, and personally for me I would love to play it casually, but I can’t chill untill chests are sorted.
Birds will come check out your park, help you find more parks, and together you’ll (somehow) fix Big Friend’s life! Above all else, skate birds try their best. Explore lots of bird-sized parks, with simple controls familiar to any pro skating tiny hawk. Find fancy clothing, secret mixtapes of new music, birds that need your help, and more! Skate to an original low-fi birb-hop soundtrack! So might not be the perfect game for me, as there are some pitfall where I’m lead in optimizing tasks multiple times rather than just solving a puzzle, but there just so much charm in betweeen, that I’m greatful how it allows my brain to switch for a while, even if it’s just chopping wood and wishing minigame for an hour.
SkateBIRD Pre-Installed:
I think the best way to play this game is by playing solo, only then everyone can fully experience the game’s content and mechanics without feeling held back by the limitations of the co-op mode. And by joining friends only when needed, players can still enjoy the social aspect of the game without sacrificing their own progress or enjoyment.
