This sidescroller packs a real kick. If you are wondering, Skeleton Crew competes with the greats such as Castle Crashers and Rampage Knights but manages to stake its own artistic style, approach to puzzles and unique boss fights that really make you use your items and environments in a more tactical and timely way. The maps are incredibly varied both in setting and scenic events from zone to zone. Enemies are tough and bosses are brutal but rewarding when defeated.The game’s story keeps the player pushing forward and the multiple ‘character unlocks’ will keep your returning to old levels to uncover even more missed content, similar to Gauntlet Dark Legacy.
