Slay the Spire 2 is the long‑anticipated sequel to the influential roguelike deck‑building game Slay the Spire, developed and published by Mega Crit. It entered Early Access on March 5, 2026 on Steam for PC (Windows, macOS, Linux) after being delayed from its originally projected 2025 launch. Slay the Spire 2 builds on the addictive blend of deck‑building, procedural level design, and turn‑based combat that made the original a genre favorite. Players construct a deck of cards that represent attacks, skills, and special effects, then use it to ascend a mysterious, ever‑changing tower called the Spire, battling bizarre enemies, random events, and powerful bosses. No two runs are the same thanks to procedurally‑generated enemies, relics, environments, and branching act paths that change the pacing and challenges of each ascent.
